The Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America Cairo Court #97 hosted a “Funny Fashions” luncheon at the Zephyr Masonic Lodge located at 5950 12th Street in Zephyrhills on Saturday, September 27th.  The “funny fashions” were graciously provided by Janet Monroe, Associate Princess of Cairo Court #97.  Ms. Monroe was also the emcee and luncheon hostess for the event.

The models were PHP Lady Catherine Parker, High Priestess Lady Carol Miller, Lady Linda Wilson, Lady Marty Lavender, Lady Dr. M.J. Price and her 5-year-old daughter Ellie Price, and Lady Rose Burdin.

Each outfit had its own silly theme: a box suit inspired by Jackie Kennedy, the season of Indian Summer, Sunscreen, Queen of the Sun (inspired by the documentary film of the same name), The Golden Girls, and a Crepe (paper) Dress that represented The Cutting Edge of Fashion.

LOSNA Cairo Court #97 hosts a number of fun actitivities throughout the year, including card parties, luncheons and teas, brunches, talent shows, and even has a mystery dinner theater slated for later in the year.
