Have You Noticed The Sign On US 301 “The Future Home Of CP Fellowship?
Thursday, July 21, 2011
Cumberland Presbyterian Fellowship had been meeting on Sundays at the Hampton Inn on US 301 in Dade City for three years. The church has grown from seven to 25 and is now relocating to its own building at 10235 US Hgwy 301 South. Services will commence at 10:30am on Sunday, July 24th and needless to say the congregation is extremely excited to have a permanent site.
The decision to relocate came after it was apparent that the congregation and children’s ministry had outgrown the Hampton Inn facilities. The new location will provide classrooms and an outdoor play area for the children, worship center and welcome area. The plan is an adjacent children’s building in the future. Pastor Reed and his faithful congregation plan to start an Awana program, praise team and other ministry activities at the new location. Presently the are working Saturdays to prepare the building for worship.
Pastor Reed would like to take this opportunity to thank the Hampton Inn for their incredible service to the church. The staff was extremely helpful, the Conference Room has been prepared every Sunday morning for service. They would like to offer a special thanks to Anita & Robert for their diligence in making sure the facilities were available and their personal encouragement.
If you are looking for a place to worship, please come visit Cumberland Presbyterian Fellowship, where “everyone knows your name.” Bring your children, grandparents, parents cousins and friends. Cumberland Presbyterian is always excited to see new faces. For additional information please contact Pastor Reed at 352-567-7427 or instchuck12@embarqmail.com
