Pasco County's 2nd Annual “Stand Down” and Homeless Health Fair to be Held July 30

Homeless veterans can receive a variety of free services, including health screenings, counseling, clothing and food, at Pasco County's 2nd Annual Stand Down and Homeless Health Fair on Friday, July 30 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. A "stand down" refers to a community-based intervention program designed to help homeless veterans combat life on the streets by providing a range of support services.
The event will be held at Holiday United Church of Christ and the Office of St Jude’s Homeless Veterans Resource Center, 4826 Bartelt Road in Holiday. The fair is hosted by the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, the Social Work Service Health Care for Homeless Veterans Program and St. Jude’s Homeless Veterans Resource Center.
