Sailing On The Seas In Wesley Chapel
Wednesday, December 8, 2010
Although Wesley Chapel may not be a coastal town, guests who come to visit the Taste of Boston will feel like they're sailing on the sea when they dine at this superior seafood establishment. Seafood lovers won't be disappointed when trying the New England specialties.
This past April, owner, George Illes opened this seafood restaurant across from the Shops at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel. George moved to Florida in 2004 when he opened his first location in South Tampa with a scenic waterfront setting. Many customers from all over the area drove to Ballast Point Park to enjoy his wide variety of New England specialties. He then knew a second location would do well in the Northern part of Tampa Bay.
George gets his frying clams from Ipswich and the scallops from New Bedford, Massachusetts. Home made clam chowder or seafood bisque is a great way to start your meal. Taste of Boston’s breading and deep flash frying seals in the flavor, especially when you dip into the properly spiced cocktail sauce. Choosing between the lobster-steamer bake or a two pound baked stuffed lobster is not easy. Taste of Boston’s grilled or blackened grouper sandwich will make you think you are down by the gulf coast. Come by and try George’s great lobster rolls that he served back in Plymouth, New Hampshire where his first seafood restaurant was opened in 1997. We are certain that Taste of Boston's menu will satisfy any seafood lover whether you are from the north or the south.
All-you-can-eat seafood specials are on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Monday kids eat free. During the week from 3 to 7pm, you can try George’s Boston Brew on tap or a glass of house wine-- two for one. Stop by and visit, Taste of Boston Restaurant at 1944 Bruce B Downs, Wesley Chapel FL 33544 or, for more info go to www.tasteofboston.net
