Honest Abe 5K Run

The Boy Scouts of America are promoting honesty by saluting President Lincoln's Birthday. This single running event will be held on February 12, 2011 at 8 am. There is a registration fee/suggested donation of $20. If registering between 7 am and 7:30 am on the day of the event, there will be a suggested donation of $25. The Boy Scouts of America are a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation and your donation is tax-deductable. Checks written for the event should be made payable to the Gulf Ridge Council and in the memo section, please write, "Honest Abe 5K Race.” The Race begins at American Consulting, 2818 Cypress Ridge Boulevard, Wesley Chapel, Florida 33544. There is plenty of free parking. After the event there will be hot breakfast and an age group awards ceremony at the Hampton Inn which is next to American Consulting. There will also be a costume contest for the best Abraham Lincoln look alike!
