The Dade City Garden Club is pleased to announce their fourth cooking school, “Tapas into Fall”. The event will be held in the gourmet kitchen of Sonny’s Appliances, 10651 Hwy 301, in Dade City on Monday, September 27, 2010, at 6 PM.
The guest chef for the evening will be Curtis Beebe, the creator and chef of the popular Underground Diners in Dade City (www.facebook.com/dadecitydiners). Curtis will be applying his culinary philosophy to this event by making fine dining approachable and assessable with local, fresh ingredients and simple techniques. He will be preparing an assortment of Tapas, “small plate, flavorful bites”, to be paired with sangria, and complementary wines. Curtis will be demonstrating the preparation of unique appetizers, soup, salad, entrees, and desserts to include some of his signature creations!
This event will be sponsored by Florida Traditions Bank. James “Bud” Stalnaker, Jr. is Chairman, President & CEO of Florida Traditions, a community bank dedicated to providing excellent, personalized customer service and contributing back to the communities in which they serve. They currently operate 4 offices in Dade City, Zephyrhills, Spring Hill, and Winter Haven and have plans for a fifth office in Lakeland.
The three previous cooking schools were very successful with delicious meals
and a sold out crowd; this is certainly a cooking school that you won’t want to miss! Each attendee will receive a copy of all the recipes. Seating is limited to 48 guests and tickets are $45.00 and must be reserved by calling (352) 567-6841. All proceeds from these events benefit the Dade City Garden Club’s “Vision Project” to renovate and restore the Historic Garden Club building and grounds.
