Ciro Adams (left), a cook in the nutritional services department at Florida Hospital Zephyrhills (FHZ), received the Employee of the Year award on Wednesday, June 7, from FHZ President and CEO Randy Surber at the hospital’s annual Employee Anniversary Celebration at Tampa Bay Golf and Country Club. A Zephyrhills resident, Adams has been employed at FHZ just over two years and was recognized for his positive engagement with staff, volunteers, patients, and guests in addition to his kind and compassionate nature. Employees recognized received service pins ranging from five to 35 years. Those receiving 35 year pins were Thomas Baptiste of surgical services and Anita Kincade from the progressive care unit. Combined, the total years of service recognized at the banquet surpassed 855 years, according to June Randall, FHZ’s Human Resources Director.
