Beat the summer heat and spend your days volunteering at the Gulfside Hospice Thrift Shoppes!
Volunteers are needed at all six Gulfside Hospice Thrift Shoppe locations across Pasco County. Roles of a Thrift Shoppe volunteer include accepting and sorting donated items, organizing merchandise displays, greeting customers, operating the cash register and more. A minimum time commitment of four hours per week is requested.
Volunteers ages 15 and up are welcome to join the team at the location of their choice. Teens and high school students can earn community service hours to meet graduation and scholarship requirements. Gulfside Hospice Thrift Shoppe locations include Dade City, Hudson, Lutz, New Port Richey, Zephyrhills and the new Gulfside Zephyrhills Furniture Shoppe. Volunteers also receive discounts when shopping at the Thrift Shoppes.
Additional volunteer opportunities at Gulfside include sitting with patients, providing spiritual care and counseling, assisting with the Pet Peace of Mind program and helping in Gulfside’s administrative offices. Volunteers are also needed for helping at Gulfside’s Centers for Hospice Care by serving meals, answering phones and greeting guests.
