Please join the Pioneer Florida Museum & Village on December 9 for their annual Country Christmas Open House. This event offers free admission with an unwrapped toy or entry is $5 per person. The toys will be donated to a local charity. Gates open at 10:00 am and close at 5:00 pm. This is a great opportunity to come out and visit the museum’s charming history, do some holiday shopping with our many vendors. Homemade Chocolates, Lularoe, jewelry, holiday décor, soaps, candles, honey, essential oils, LipSense, garden art and so many other Christmas gift items. The Caroling Company will be performing on the Gazebo, dressed in period clothing and singing wonderful Christmas songs, a cappella style. They will perform from 10 am until 1 pm with breaks in between. 1 pm we will have The Dade City Joy Ringers playing Christmas music. Santa & Mrs. Claus will be here from 1-3 pm and we will offer complimentary photos by photographer Christina Strong. The barrel train will be ready for
some fun train rides with Conductor Joe. We added a car show this year hosted by Ronnie Setser to the event this year. The Knockerball Soccer Society will be here to have some fun with the bubbles.
We will serve cookies and punch and as always, the concession stand will be open with hamburgers, hot dogs and a barbeque dinner.
